Tandoor India specializes in its authentic homemade Tandoori masala(marinates for meats and veggies cooked in the clay oven)! All of our meats are fresh from the farm, and we never freeze them! We pride our restaurant in one of our many house specialties the "Chicken Tikka Masala"(can be made with any meats,seafood, or veggies in the tikka masala sauce). Tandoor is a clay oven, & that is what we are most well known for! Most of our food is marinated and cooked inside of our clay oven first before being thrown in any of our curry sauces or you can just have it on a sizzler sauteed with onions and bell peppers! Tandoor first opened its door to serve the University Of Pennsylvania students and staff in Summer of 1991.
Tandoor's dishes are derived from traditional Moghul cuisine where fish, meat and game are cooked in the authentic Tandoor (Clay Oven) style of North West India.
