Cherry St Asylum

Cherry St Asylum started in 2014 with a few "rooms" that we built up in our driveway. It now has extended onto our neighbor's property as well. We are a family and friendly place. All of our actors are firefighter/ems trained personnel that come together on our favorite holiday to help others enjoy Halloween as well. We allow any ages to go through, we will adjust the fright for little ones so they get to enjoy themselves as well. We ask that you accompany them through if needed.

This is a free haunt for all ages.

ATTENTION: We reserve the right to deny entry or remove a patron at any time for any cause. We are NOT responsible for any injury, lost items as by entering on your own free will. Please be kind to our actors as they work hard and are dedicated in providing a scary, fun and free haunt. ALSO, please respect our property as we do live here!

And as always, happy haunting and enjoy!
Eternally dead,
Cherry St Asylum owners & employees

Back in the 60's there was a mental institution in a secret location in PA. The worse of the worst were kept there, as well as some patients who were mistaken & forgotten by mankind. All were under the care of Dr S. Atan. He had an unusual belief that if he could break the patients of the phobias they feared, he could cure them. In order to do this, he would make them face the fears they regret the most!
The state found this unfit and noticed he had a strange attraction in physically and emotionally scaring his patients with their fears. They fired him after finding out he had dressed up as a monster and forced a patient into a small room and scared him to DEATH! After being fired, the doctor disappeared to his farm stead in the Boothwyn section of PA. Patients from the hospital started to go missing shortly after. Locals would drive by what is now Cherry St and say they could hear the screaming of people but no one was ever seen until one Hallow's Eve.
One that night, a man passing by noticed a man who resembled Dr S. Atan. The doctor was dragging a body in a straight jacket into the barn. The passerby snuck up to peak inside and witnessed several people tied to tables and walls. There were ceremonial writings all over the walls in what looked to be blood. It was proven that the doctor has sold his soul to the dark lord and was sacrificing these people.
Authorities were soon alerted by the passerby. Upon their arrival to make an arrest of the now deranged doctor, he murdered his final patient and chanted ritualistic words and cursed the land. He screamed "All ye who dare step foot on this holy ground shall forever be possessed on the devil's day". He then took his own life.
Legend has it, every year demons possess the people who now live on the property! They make them build a replica of what would be rooms for the patients and invite trick-or-treaters in, to face the fears they fear most! Some say they even take their very souls!
