The Raspberry Pi is an excellent machine for physical computing projects that need networking, disk storage, or both. It runs Linux and has standard video, audio, and USB ports, so you have your choice of software, programming languages, and hardware. This class will provide a fast-paced tour of everything you need to start your own projects on the Raspberry Pi.
We’ll cover initial setup, connecting the computer to the internet, connecting to breadboards using SPI or I2C, and a taste of the Linux command line – and we’ll explain what all that means. Some prior programming experience, in any language, is assumed. The class examples will be in Python.
