Philadelphia is on pace to surpass 1,200 overdose deaths in 2017. Prevention Point (https://ppponline.org/), a harm reduction organization based in Kensington, is working to end preventable deaths by distributing as much naloxone (Narcan) as possible - and for free. But costs of the overdose-reversing drug have been skyrocketing, and Prevention Point needs help raising money to fund its mission. So come out for a night of live music to help support saving lives.
Someone will Prevention Point will be there to hang out and answer any questions. We'll also have a donation bin to collect toiletries for their homeless outreach team.
Want to help out? Bring blankets, mens and womens winter coats, toothpaste, toothbrushes, tiny shampoos + soaps, t-shirts, socks, gloves, underwear, and hats.
